Looking fit and being lean is really the rave right now. Besides being
healthy and strong, getting a flat stomach is very important nowadays.
Many people have discovered this demand for the solution of getting a
lean sexy stomach and many have capitalized on it. That is why there
are so many diets that are emerging into the market, for example Atkins
Diet, South Beach Diet, Negative Calorie Diet and many more.
These new abs diet are created to give you the best results with as
little time as possible. Not only are those, these new diets geared to
make dieting as easy as possible. This is because most people fail in
losing any weight at all is because they fail to stick to the diet, not
because the diet does not work. Most diet work, as long as the calorie
intake is lower that the calorie output, you will lose body fat, it is

Well, this abs diet that I am about to share with you helped me stick
to the diet with ease! It does not deprive me from the food that I love
and it works wonders! What makes this abs diet wonderful is that the
food that it recommends is not difficult to get. Honestly, in any diet,
the worst part is the pressure it puts on the dieters mental. This abs
diet has milestone goals and it also have periodic cheat days which
makes dieting fun and focused.
Ok, now to reveal the concept behind this abs diet. This diet is
actually inspired by the diet called Bodyopus. In this diet, you have
to go on a strict zero carb diet for 5 days and have 2 cheat days. This
cheat day is very important because it gives me a target which is not
too far away to reach. This gives me lots of motivation to stick to the
diet. I would go like “I have to stick to the diet no matter
what and it is only 3 days away from my cheat day!”
The concept of this abs diet is that when you eat only proteins and
fats, your body will produce ketones. These ketones will then
“change” the body from carbohydrate consuming body
to a fat consuming machine. At this point, you will be in the state of
ketosis. But for the body to be in a state of ketosis, you have to
consume below 20 grams of carbohydrates a day. One apple have around 50
grams of carbohydrates and it is enough to throw you off ketosis.
So, in this particular weight loss diet, you can only consume protein,
fats and a lot of vegetables. Vegetables are very important because it
will make up the bulk of your meal and you will need a lot of fiber due
to the absence of your regular carbohydrate foods. So, the foods that
you are not allowed to have are all sorts of carbohydrates like rice,
noodles, bread, starch based foods, junk food, sugar and even fruits.
Basically any foods that have sugar you cannot eat in this abs diet.
But the great news is you can have all the meat, eggs, vegetables that
your heart desires. This includes hamburgers and hot dogs but be
careful of the amount of salt that these foods contain. Unfortunately,
breaded meat is not allowed in this diet so no Kentucky Fried chicken
is allowed. You have to drink lots of water during this abs diet.
So, a typical meal for a day would be 2 eggs, 2 hotdogs and some bacon
for breakfast. Then for lunch, I would have a large steak of a one
quarter of a chicken with lots of stir fried vegetables with olive oil.
Then for dinner I would have some stir fried chicken with mushrooms,
tomatoes, stir fried mix vegetables and maybe a hard boil egg. If you
are afraid of cholesterol, choose lean cuts and throw away the egg yolk.
Be really discipline for 5 days then on Saturday and Sunday, eat
normally and have some of your favorite junk food. Make sure you do not
over eat during the weekends. Eat just the foods that your heart
desire. My favorite would be chocolate ice cream with sea coconut!
You will be amazed what this diet can do for you. You can easily lose 4
kilograms in 2 and half weeks. But, do not think that you can escape
exercising. The best way to lose body fat is to combine exercise and
this abs diet. Make sure you lift lots of weights and do lots of
cardio. You need weight training because weight training uses sugar
from your body and this will help you deplete the sugar stores in your
body. This will help you get into ketosis faster. You need at least 3
weight training sessions per week. Besides that, you need to do at
least 3 sessions of cardio per week. Each session must be around 30 to
45 minutes.
To have optimum results with this abs diet, train your large muscle
groups on Monday, if you start your diet on Monday that is. This is
because you will have enough sugar stores in your body to pull through
those crazy leg, chest and back workouts. Then on Tuesday, you will
work your shoulder and arms. Then on Friday, you train your whole body
with high reps. This means training to at least 15 to 18 reps. This
will really help deplete any remaining sugar in your body!
For your cardio, you will need to do moderate intensity cardio
sessions. This is because the abs
diet really drains your sugar stores and this will make you
fatigue. Enjoy the cardio session, put your favorite song on or watch
your favorite program on TV, just make sure you hit at least 5 km in 45
minutes.
You will really feel satisfied after each exercise session because when
you look into the mirror, you will look leaner every time! Just a bit
of warning, you will feel fatigue, tired and maybe grouchy during the
first few days of this diet as your body will try to adapt to the new
eating lifestyle. You will also feel amazing cravings for carbohydrates
but those cravings will go off. Focus and stick to the plan, it is only
