Wondering
what is the best stomach exercise among the best? Well, according to
Biomechanics Lab at San Diego State University, they made some test on
a variety of stomach exercise and came up with one single stomach
exercise that is the most effective in terms of stomach muscle
stimulation.
Before we go and discover what that wonderful
stomach
muscle exercise is, lets have a look at what are the factors that make
an abdominal exercise a best stomach exercise. A good stomach exercise
should hit all the muscles that are located in the core. The muscles
are the abdominis rectus (upper and lower), internal oblique, external
oblique and the transverse abdominus.
The most effective stomach
exercise that Biomechanics Lab at San Diego State University found is
the bicycle maneuver. In this exercise all, the stated muscles in the
core area are worked. What makes this exercise more difficult is that
it requires strict form and coordination and it also involves rotation
movement, which really works the oblique muscles.
With nice looking oblique muscles, you will have a really rock hard,
tapered and solid looking torso!
Lie
flat on the floor with your lower back firmly flat on the ground. Put
your hands lightly by your head. Bring your knees up to about a
45-degree angle and with strict form go through a bicycle pedal motion.
Touch your left elbow to your right knee, then your right elbow to your
left knee. Breathe with control throughout the motion and make sure you
tighten your abs.
Practice this fantastic abs exercise 3-5 times a
week. Do three sets of 50 reps and you will definitely see good
results!
