January 23, 2009 21:48 - Easy Diet to Lose Weight

Are you currently seeking out an easy diet to lose weight with? If so I have the ultimate diet for you, its called calorie shifting. This diet is the easiest diet to do for weight loss. It doesn't involve starving yourself, in fact you can eat full sized meals with this diet. Anyone who follows it will be able to lose 9 pounds in 11 days as is the claim to the diets fame.

How does calorie shifting work?

What you are doing is eating full sized meals everyday that are focused onto one major type of calorie from day to day. So one day will be a higher fiber day, the next will be high protein and so on. What this does is confuse your metabolism so it never knows when to stop, as a result you end up burning fat continually from the food you consume.

I Still don't quite understand

You see when you are eating a normal diet or even on a special diet, your body catches onto and adapts to your eating habits. Once this happens it automates the metabolic response so you might get an increase in metabolism at breakfast, a minor one at lunch and that's it for the day. With calorie shifting you get a metabolism boost at every meal of the day and throughout.

Results are Permanent!

Best of all unlike any other diet there is no rebound effect when you are calorie shifting. You see other diets that have you drop your calorie intake cause your body to go into a scarcity mode where it tries to hold onto every calorie you consume. Once you come off one of these diets you end up storing more calories than ever before and put the weight back on. However with calorie shifting the weight is off and actually continues to come off for sometimes weeks afterward.

January 23, 2009 01:27 - Fast Weight Loss

What is calorie shifting? You've probably asked yourself that question and maybe typed it into a search engine if you've read anything at all about calorie shifting online. Maybe you heard the term from a friend who was either raving about how great the diet was or was regarding it with skepticism. More importantly than what it is, why should you care what calorie shifting is and what can it do for you and your health?

Calorie Shifting is THE Way to Burn Fat Fast
Fat burning pills, crash diets, fasting, excessive exercising, liquid diets, low-fat diet, low-calorie, low-carb . . . how many of them have you tried? Do you still need to lose weight?

That should be reason enough for you to be interested in calorie shifting.

Once you ask the question, what is calorie shifting, and you get the answers you need about what it is and how to do it, you won't ever have to worry about counting fat grams or calories ever again. You'll never even be tempted to take another 'miracle' diet pill, and you won't feel like you need to spend hours in the gym. You'll also know better than to ever go a day or even several hours, without eating again.

What is calorie shifting? It's only the best way to burn fat fast and drop weight quickly. You've heard a person can safely lose 1 to 2 pounds a week and keep it off, but anything more than that isn't healthy or likely to stick, right? With calorie shifting, you can lose 9 pounds in 11 days and make it stick.

The food you eat works with your body to maximize your metabolism and keeps your fat burner stoked at all times. Fat was meant to be burned, and when you diet by calorie shifting, you're letting your body go about its business the way it was meant to.

You'll eat 4 meals a day, each time eating until you feel satisfied. You don't have to exercise. You can have what's listed for dinner for breakfast if you want. You can even eat in restaurants or have something to eat before bedtime. And if there are 2 or 3 foods listed for a meal but you really only want one of them, you can just eat the one food.

You get choices while the calorie shifting and fat-burning foods help you lose weight.

May 26, 2008 11:58 - Fast Ways To Boost Metabolism

There are numerous methods to increase metabolism but I am going laser in on just eight methods that I think are to most effective………

First of all, you need to understand and know your metabolism.

It's the rate your body converts food into energy and burns it off as calories. The faster you burn off calories, the more weight/fat you can slice off even if you eat the same amount of food.

For all of us, we use up this kind of energy (calories) in 3 ways:

* 60-70% to power our body for all its daily functions, to keep us going. This is otherwise known as basal or resting metabolic rate
* About 30% in exercise and other physical activities
* The remaining 10% in eating food since the processing and digesting that's involved requires energy. This is also known as the thermic effect of food

The 8 fast ways I suggest to boost all these 3 areas of your metabolism are:

1. Do Cardio Exercise

It's the most powerful and direct way to crank up your metabolic rate as when you exercise, you need energy to fuel your body to do the job.

Go for running, jogging, swimming, biking, dancing.....as these are excellent cardio exercises that use up lots of energy and hence burn off more calories.

Cardio for at least 30 minutes per session for 3-4 times or 4-5 times per week, which can elevate your metabolism for several hours even after you've finished exercising.

The best time to do cardio exercise is in the morning so you kick start your metabolism for the day.

2. Do weights

Start weight training and do 3-4 times per week for 20-30 minutes per session, to promote your muscle growth. As muscle is metabolically active (it burns calories even when you're resting) and burns more calories than fat, the more muscle you've, the more calories you burn, while you're at rest.

P/S: For every 1 lb of muscle you pack into your body, you burn about 50 extra calories per day without any additional effort on your part

3. Eat Breakfast, Don't Skip It

When you sleep at night, you stop eating food, hence you sort of going into a "fasting" phase and your metabolism also slows down. So, eating breakfast first thing in the morning is the WAY to kick start back your metabolism, to signal to your body that you aren't "fasting" and "starving" anymore, so your body resumes its normal metabolic rate, and not goes into a "starvation" mode (thinking that you're facing "starvation") by slowing down your metabolism

4. Eat Smaller Meals And Eat Often

If you eat 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day, you'll keep high your metabolic rate simply because you're using the thermic effect of food, to burn off energy. The more frequent you eat, the more often your metabolic rate gets hiked up in the day.

It's best to eat major portion of your food earlier in the day; with dinner your smallest and lightest meal and eat it before 8 p.m. This helps your body process and burn the food when you're still awake and move around.

5. Eat Enough Calories

Remember you need about 60 -70% of your calories in a day to power your body to get going? If you consume too few calories, your body automatically slows down its metabolic rate (thinking that you're starving), to protect you from losing energy (calories), to keep you going.

An average healthy person needs to consume at least 1,200 calories per day, to keep his/her basal metabolic rate at healthy, going level.

6. Eat More Lean Protein

It takes more energy for your body to digest protein than carbohydrate or fat. Hence, you should include some lean protein such as lean chicken and fish in your meals.

7. Eat Fibre

Food with lots of fibre also gives your thermic metabolism a boost. High-fibre foods like fruits & vegetables, beans and whole grains (like brown rice, whole grain pasta/bread) simply take longer to digest and therefore help burn more calories.

8. Drink Plenty Of Water (At Least 8 Big Glasses Daily)

Just so you know, the energy burning process of metabolism needs water to work effectively.

May 23, 2008 05:59 - My Newly Discovered Weight Loss Remedy

I know how hard it is to lose weight while at work and on the road. It is definitely tough when you are faced with all the delicious food staring at you, yelling at you eat me! Eat me! What makes things worse is that you entered a restaurant or a food court with an empty stomach. Instead of your mind, your desire and temptation of delicious food takes over control over you.

But luckily, recently I have discovered some thing new to me that really helped me over come this problem. The solution is soup! Especially clear soup that contains lots of vegetables and meat. This hot meal loaded with protein and fiber fills me up and the soup really satisfies my appetite.

The soup also helps me to eat slowly, which also helps control appetite. This is because I always order hot soup and spicy soups, so I tend to eat very slowly. This allows my stomach to tell me that I am full. I guess old weight loss tips does help!

Try it. You have to be flexible and creative in order to overcome your dieting problems. Don’t get stuck into old habits of eating. Take on something new to get a new body!
